WhatsApp is finally going to stop working with a few more iOS devices. Starting later this year, the company will stop working with iPhones running iOS 10 and iOS 11.

iPhone users running iOS 10 or iOS 11 must update to access WhatsApp after October 24.

WhatsApp will discontinue supporting iOS 11 on Oct. 24, 2022. To update iOS, go to Settings>General>Software Update.

If you want to know what devices can now run iOS 10 and iOS 11, here they are: iPhones 5 and 5c.

Since iOS 12 has been released, Apple has promised to continue supporting the iPhone 5s, iPhone 6, and iPhone 6s models running it.

WhatsApp's Help Center claims that iOS 12 or later is required to use the app. Android 4.1 or later is required for android devices.

Rumors say that the iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and the original iPhone SE will no longer be able to run the upcoming iOS 16.

Does anyone you know still have an iPhone 5 or 5c and use WhatsApp? Tell them about this.
